How to Setup Label Printer?

Step #1) Browse to the menu Label Printing Configuration 




Step #2) The system will automatically populate the default IP address/Workstation Name into the two fields. DO NOT CHANGE the content inside the textbox Workstation/IP Address. For Printer Profiler Name, you are welcomed to change to a printer profile name that you can understand and remember. For example Warehouse Printer1

Step #3) Fill in the print mode that match the print category of the label. If it's scan print, then choose Scan Print. There are different modes available. 

Global Start Position X & Y is for you to adjust the start printing position of the label without adjusting the label template. Normally, 0, 0 would be fine.


Communication Type, the different types of printer supported
1) LTP Port - Parallel port printer
2) Network Printer - print to the printer via network
3) Windows Printer - print via Windows printer driver (you can see the printer name in Windows Printer folder)
4) Zebra Brower Print - this is specifically for Zebra portable printer


Printer Mode:-
The language that printer is supporting. At the moment, we are using either ZPL or PDF. Should there by new printer language required, please inform us.



Parallel Printer (LPT Printer)

Select LPT Port as the Communication Type, and then enter the LPT Port.

Network Printer

Enter the IP of the printer and also the port number the printer is listening at

Windows Printer

Enter the name of the printer that matches the Windows Printer Name setup (mostly USB printer)

Zebra Browser Printer

Enter the name of the printer that recognized by the Zebra Browser Print agent

Remember to click submit after filling in all the necessary fields


To be able to stop prompting of the confirmation box at Google Chrome



WCPP client is required for the workstation that prints labels.
