Laser Mark ATE Step by Step Guide

SETUP FOR LOT  > ISN

Prerequisite (Product, Route and Work Order Setup)
1. Make sure the serial number masks and quantity per panel are being maintained at the product level.

2. Make sure route had been setup. (Sample is using Lot for top side and ISN for bottom side).

3. Make sure work order had been setup.


Process Flow
1. Request serial number from MES using stored procedure ProductionControl_GenerateSerialNumberByWorkOrder while passing 3 parameters.
-@p_WorkOrderNumber for workorder number/ production order
-@p_MachineId for machine
-@p_Station for station

2. After requesting serial number, user can navigate to Report > Serial Number Unit History to make sure that laser mark serial number had been generated.


Image above show the serial number unit generated after step 1. User will need to tick on the optionShow Unused SN as these generated are not yet a created unit in MES but existed as Serial Number Unit which are serial number prepared to be created as unit.

3. Start ATE Transporter Lite, user is required to start the ATE Transporter Lite and fill in Site, Machine, select File Format as Escatec_LaserMark, key in Work Order and Password while clicking on the green On button to start the ATE Transporter Lite.

SCENARIO 1: PASS/COMPLETE
3.1.0 Unit creation with Pass/Complete result (refer to attachment below LaserMark_Pass_LotToISN.csv)

3.1.1 Transporter successfully pass the log file

3.1.2 After the log file had been successfully processed. Unit will be created.

3.1.3 At Serial Number Unit History report the created unit will show with Result: Pass and Status: Unit Created.

SCENARIO 2 BADMARK
3.2.0 Unit creation with Badmark result (refer to attachment below LaserMark_Badmark_LotToISN.csv)

3.2.1 Transporter successfully pass the log file

3.2.2 After the log file had been successfully processed. Unit will be created however the 3 Badmark units will not be created (unit with Badmark as result will not be created while others Pass had been created).

3.2.3 At Serial Number Unit History report the created unit will show with Result: Badmark

Scenario 3: FAIL
3.3.0 Unit creation with Fail result (refer to attachment LaserMark_Fail_LotToISN.csv)

3.3.1 Transporter successfully pass the log file

3.3.2 After the log file had been successfully processed. Even though there is only 1 fail unit in the logfile, however the whole panel unit will not be created in MES but will be marked as Fail at step 3.2.3 serial number unit.

3.3.3 At Serial Number Unit History report the created unit will show with Result: FAIL

3.3.4 User is required to repass the logfile once the cavity had been rework with result pass to pass the cavity which is previously flagged as FAIL.

3.3.5 The unit are successfully created after passing logfile with result PASS.

3.3.6 Previously unit with FAIL result, the whole panel will be obsolete/cancel with OBS- in front of the serial number.

3.3.7 The serial number unit with Result: PASS and status: Unit Created follow by others unit one the same panel had been created.


SETUP FOR  ISN ONLY

1. Make sure Quantity Per Panel and Serial Number Mask had been setup.

2. Make sure route had been setup to only ISN.

3. Create an workorder.

4. Upon requested serial number from MES the serial number unit will be show at Report > Serial Number Unit History.

4.1.0 User is required to input the work order number, as the quantity per panel of the product is 4 therefore the logfile information will need to have 4 quantity to create a panel with result PASS as keyword to indicate successful transaction. Refer attachment LaserMark_Pass_ISN for the logfile sample.

4.1.1 After the logfile had been processed, 4 units had been successfully created.

4.1.2 After the the logfile had been successfully processed, user will able to see in Report > Serial Number Unit History with Result: Pass and Status: Unit Created.

4.2.0 User is required to input the work order number, as the quantity per panel of the product is 4 therefore the logfile information will need to have 4 quantity to create a panel with result FAIL as keyword for FAILtransactionRefer attachment LaserMark_Fail_ISN for the logfile sample.

4.2.1 After the logfile had been processed, no unit had been successfully created. As there is 1 unit failed.

4.2.2 After the the logfile had been successfully processed, user will able to see inReport > Serial Number Unit History with Result: Pass and Status: (Blank) for unit that have result pass and also Result: Fail and status (Blank) for unit that had failed. For unit that had been failed, user can simply pass in the logfile with result PASS after rework to successfully recreate them.

4.3.0 User is required to input the work order number, as the quantity per panel of the product is 4 therefore the logfile information will need to have 4 quantity to create a panel with result BADMARK as keyword for BADMARK transactionRefer attachment LaserMark_Badmark_ISN for the logfile sample.

4.3.1 After the logfile had been processed, unit with PASS result will be created while unit with BADMARK result will be not be created. 3 additional units had been created while 1 unit with badmark are not created.

4.3.2 After the the logfile had been successfully processed, user will able to see inReport > Serial Number Unit History with Result: Pass t and Status: Unit Created for unit that have result pass and also Result: BADMARK and status (Blank) for unit that had been bad marked.
