Send to deviation route after rework (Inventory Ready Unit)

1. User can go to Product > Route Maintenance to create a route with the route type as Deviation for respective customer. User can assign the unit to a deviation route without changing the work order.

2. User can maintain the route steps that need to be done after unit rework for the deviation route like Image 2. The unit will proceed to the first route step of the deviation route after the unit has done rework. Then, after unit has completed all the route steps from deviation route, unit will back to the primary route and queue to the route step before it went to rework.

3.  For Inventory Ready unit, in order to send to deviation route after rework, user can go to Production > Production Control > Send to Rework.

4. User can enter the work order and the serial number of the unit that is going to send to rework. Then, user can click on the Add button.

5. After user has clicked on the Add button, a few more columns will be displayed. User is required to tick the Send to Deviation Route and Auto Complete Primary RouteWhen Returnoptions. Then, user needs to choose a deviation route from the disposition to dropdown list and fill up the Note. Then, user can click on Submit button to send the unit to rework. The sequence is shown in Image 5.

6. User can then go to Production > Rework > Rework to rework the unit. A deviation route dropdown list will be displayed after user enter the serial number and user is required to select the requested deviation route where the unit will proceed to the deviation route after the unit has done rework.

7. Then, user can click the Add button to confirm the rework and click the Submit button to close the rework.

8. After the unit has successfully completed the rework process and closed the defect, unit will proceed to deviation route and queue to the first route step of deviation route. A new field named Deviation Route will be displayed on the Unit Status page.

9. After user has completed the deviation route, the unit will back to primary route and the Unit Location and Unit Status will be Inventory Ready.

10. Unit history will show the records as well as it was processed through the deviation route.
