Line Conversion, Process Material, Tooling Control for BATAM

1.0 Operation setup for Line Conversion [Maintenance > Operation Setup]

User is required to make sure the selected operation will need to have SMT Top Side or SMT Bottom Side selected (refer to figure 1.0.1) at operation setup and this operation need to be setup in the route setup of the selected product (refer to figure 1.0.2). With these 2 setup, the operation will be shown at Line Conversion page (refer to figure 1.0.3).

2.0 Tooling Creation [Maintenance > Tooling Setup]
User enter the Tooling Name and select the Tooling type as Support Block to create a new Tooling. (Description is optional)


Tooling had been successfully created.

2.0.1 Adding serial number for Support Block

User can add new serial number for tooling by entering the serial number and click on Add. User will not able to maintain Maximum Time Usage, Service Date and Warning Count for Tooling Type = Support Block.

2.0.2 Adding serial number for Solder Paste

The option Maximum Time Usage, Service Date, Warning Count will be enabled when Tooling Type = Solder Paste.

3.0 Product Setup [Product > Product Management]

3.1.0 Process Material Setup at Product Page

User is required maintain Process Material at Product Management


3.1.1 User need to maintain Operation, Process Material Type, Material Type and Internal Part Number and upon clicking on Add, the will a new row inserted right below showing the information of Process Material.


3.2.0 Tooling Setup at Product Page

User can maintain the Tooling for Top Side or Bottom Side and user can also maintain multiple Tooling for one side (refer to figure 3.2.0.1)

4. Freezer Maintenance [Maintenance > Freezer]


5. Process Material Rule Setup [Maintenance > Process Material Rule New]

User is required to maintain the Process Material Rule for the process material with all these information below:

6. Process Material Creation [Production > Process Material > Registration]

6.0 User can create new Process Material (Solder Paste /  Epoxy Glue) by clicking on the Add button.


User is required to Key in all the information below. (Freezer Name will appear here if step 4 had been setup and Name will appear if step 5 had been setup)

Error message when creating Process Material
If wrong container type had been selected error message will show as below. User is required to compare the container for the process material that had been maintained in process material rule.

If serial number had been registered error message will show as below. User is required to use other Lot Number that are currently not yet created in system.

6.1 Process Material Successfully created



6.2 Search created Process Material [Production > Process Material > Registration]

User can search for the created process material by entering the Lot Number and click on the Search button

7.0 Thawing and Spinning  [Production > Process Material > Thawing and Spinning]

7.1 User can perform Thawing and Spinning by entering the Serial Number and click on Search


7.2 User can scan out (thaw) the process material by click on the Scan out button.


7.3 User can then click on Done Spinning when depending on the setup of Process Material Rule for Spinning Minute that had been setup at step 5.

7.3.1 When the spinning minute still not fulfill user are unable to click on done spinning. Example Date Scan Out at 2025-11-06 09:45:08.987 and user trying to click Done spinning at 2025-11-06 09:49:10.987, system will block user from done spinning assuming the spinning minute had been set to 5 at Step 5.


7.3.2 Assuming user click on Done Spinning at 2025-11-06 11:01:22.043, user will be able to proceed the done spinning.


8.0 Line Conversion for Solder Paste / Epoxy Glue [Production > Production Control > Line Conversion > Line Conversion]

User can perform Line Conversion and scan in the serial number of solder paste / epoxy glue at the line conversion page.

The icon on top of the line conversion will show what had been scanned for the current work order.


8.1 User can scan the serial number of the solder paste / epoxy glue in this page



9.0 Tooling Control [Production > Production Control > Line Conversion > Tooling Control

User can assign Support Block by entering the Serial Number of the tooling and click on Search


9.1 User can assign the Support Block by selecting the Focused Factory and Line, Work Order and Operation and click on Add.




9.2 After the Support block being added, it will reflect on the line conversion, refresh the page or changing the operation will refresh the page and show the latest status of the current workorder.


9.3 Tooling Control [Production > Production Control > Line Conversion > Tooling Control

User can assign Tooling (Solder Paste) by entering the Serial Number of the tooling and click on Search

9.4 User can assign the Tooling (Solder Paste) by selecting the Focused Factory and LineWork Order and Operation and click on Add.



9.5 After the  Tooling (Solder Paste) being added, it will reflect on the line conversion, refresh the page or changing the operation will refresh the page and show the latest status of the current workorder.
