1. User is unable to proceed for unit creation for SMT process when the route setup is invalid.
2. When there is operation that is not belongs to SMT Top Side or SMT Bottom Side is queuing in the middle of other normal SMT operations, system will not be able to carry out unit creation process.
3. For example, Image 1 shows that XRAY 1 operation which is the operation that do not belongs to either SMT Top Side or SMT Bottom Side is queuing in the middle of other normal SMT operations

4. When user start the transaction, system will not be able to carry out the SMT process correctly which is the serialization due to invalid route setup as the operation will stop system from performing serialization.
Image 2
5. Image 3 shows the correct route setup where operation that is not belongs to either SMT Top Side or SMT Bottom Side should be place after SMT operations.

6. With the correct route setup, unit creation process is then able to execute correctly where serialization will be done as well at the beginning.

7. If user do not know if the operation is belongs to SMT Top Side or SMT Bottom Side, user can go to Maintenance > Operation Setup to check operation's status.
