ATE Setup of New Machine for SMT

1. Copy ATE installer from this link : \\eem01smes02\Installer\ATE\SMT


2. Paste the ATE installer at local machine/client/PC


3. Run the ATE Configuration file by using Notepad or Notepadd++
 

4. This 3 items is need set based on local machine/client/PC created path(user may create the path and map it accordingly).
       a) Monitoring File Path : Location for ATE to pickup the logfile
     
       b) File Logger Path : Location for ATE to dump transaction logfile of ATE
 

        c) BackupFilePath : Location for ATE to backup the machine/client/PC provided by logfile in local machine/client/PC
 

5.Below is to set the local machine/client/PC IP address. You may check on your network setting on the local machine/client/PC
 


6. Below is to set the destination to send the logfile to server for processing
Setup is :   \\10.253.0.169\SMTMonitor\Which Line\Machine ID\TraceData\PcbLogInformation\PcbMountLog\Machine name
(Note : This path is to set in ATE configuration)

Example : \\10.253.0.169\SMTMonitor\Line7\PP22\TraceData\PcbLogInformation\PcbMountLog\TB1072S


ATE configuration :


7. Once this establish, you may save the updated configuration. Once save, do make sure the ATE configuration is up to date
 

8. Once complete, you may launch/relaunch the ATE


9. Do make sure the details on the screen is up to date per the logfile configuration. If all okay, you may click the start(green button) to turn on the ATE


10. ATE is ready to run on this mode


Note : If on the local machine/client/PC is centralise station which carry more the 1 machine logfile. You need to install the ATE similar to the quantity of machine that you have. As per point no 6, ATE can only be set for 1 pointing path at a time
